MORNING by Billy Collins
"This is the best- throwing off the light covers, feet on the cold floor,"
"and buzzing around the house on expresso-"
"maybe a splash of water in the face,"
"trees fifty, a hundred years old out there"
When you start each day with a grateful heart, light illuminates from within.
