"The Man in the Moon"
"The Man in the Moon" -Billy Collins
"a pale bachelor, well-groomed and full of melancholy."
"he looks like a young man who has fallen in love with the dark earth"
This is very simplistic yet beautiful. In the first image, the black and white tones emphasize on the melancholic state of the bachelor. It all seems so grey and dull for him. But the next image seems to inspire hope and love with its warm blue hues. It's like the saying 'the light at the end of a tunnel'. This is a nice way of capturing the mood of the poem Toodles
